The food is amazing and the service is outstanding! I have officially adopted Table 76 as my spot!
Always the best spot! Such delicious & unique food, a fun environment, and friendly waiters!
Not much on the decor and not on the uncomfortable metal/wood folding chairs BUT certainly makes up for it with EXCELLENT food and fantastic, friendly and prompt service. Love this place!
The food is delicious, the staff was very attentive and the energy is intoxicationg.
Friendly service, great food and good energy on a Saturday night. Reservations are highly recommended.
Always make a reservation on Open Table first! We were three blocks away and decided we wanted to stop in for dinner. Everyone else had the same idea too, but we had the forethought to reserve a table - we were seated almost immediately upon arrival and were enjoying mojitos in no time - we overheard the hostess tell the couple that came in after us that there was a 45 minute wait! (The food IS worth waiting for, but so much more enjoyable when you can sit right down) The menu is pretty comprehensive - something for everyone (vegan, gluten free, or carnivores) and we enjoyed everything we ordered.
The atmosphere was upbeat and the staff were all very pleasant! The food was absolutely delicious- even the guacamole was exceptional. It took quite a while before we were served appetizers and drinks, however. I wish the music was a little softer - we had a group of nine for a book club meeting and it was difficult to have a large group discussion.
Food was amazing
It was really crowded which could have impacted the service. Everyone was really nice - just a few small misses in communication with the waiter. He was great.
Food was good as always...
The drinks were a bit watered down...
The waitress wasn’t very attentive
I was in the mood for Spanish food and this really hit the spot. The grilled corn as an appetizer was yummy along with the coconut shrimp which were gigantic! Then the garlic chicken as my entree was delish! Had leftovers since the portions were big! This restaurant is budget friendly soo much food and drinks for two for 100 bucks!
Awesome except for they do B'day celebration/song and everyone else happened to be born on the night we went there to eat.
It was very loud and very cramped. There is not enough room for the amount of seating jammed into the place. The food was very good, but the service was average. The value is not there based on the price when you consider the complete nature of the restaurant.
GREAT dining experience. The Server (Eric) was excellent, very attentive, but not intrusive. I have eaten at Bogota before and attended for my birthday celebration with my family. THANK YOU BOGOTA.
We used to love love Bogata. The food has gone down hill while the prices have gone up. $30 for a skirt steak? The empanadas we nothing special. They stopped giving free plantains because “have gone up”. Well the downtown quite Notable as you always would have to wait on a Friday night. There was no weight and empty tables!
Pls return to how it was. I probably have been there ave 50times since it opened
Noise level made it hard to hear each other without yelling but the food was so great it was worth it.
Awesome service and delicious food! The venue has a nice feel to it, very relaxed and comfortable. This location is one of my go to places and I’m never disappointed when I go.
The music is too loud. They should turn the volume lower during regular meal hours but can turn it up during Happy Hour or late night dinner for people who come here mostly for drinks. It was very hard to have conversations with friends when the music was too loud.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants before I developed food allergies. Wonderful staff and drinks. However, there are less than a handful of food options here for those with soy allergy (I also have dairy, egg, and gluten allergy). While other restaurants all over the city will provide patrons like me with custom orders apparently, Bogota only uses soybean oil so as my friends ate amazing food, I was offered spinach and mushrooms. Not what you want when you go to a Columbian restaurant. Very disappointing!!!
Great food. It took awhile to get seated.
I made a reservation based on the reviews. I found the food very bland for Latin cuisine--even the beans didn't have flavor. Maybe I hit a bad night.
It's a lively place with lots of specialty drinks and full Colombian menu. I was part of a group of nine. One of my dinner companions ordered the Paisa with the skirt steak- which is typically Colombian. The meat was tough. I had the Sancocho. It was good and satisfying, but lukewarm. The plantain in it was rock hard. This is probably because the soup was heated in a microwave instead of the stovetop. As I stirred the soup, the bottom became hotter. I had the arepa de choclo. The arepa was hard and overdone.
Our server was friendly and personable. Two at our table were sharing their meal, but had to wait a while after asking for an extra plate and serving spoon so that the dish could be split. We asked a server for a plate and serving spoon. Instead of getting it himself, he directed our request to our server, who was obviously busy. No teamwork here. Sorry, but I've been to better Colombian restaurants.
Going away partu
Food was great. Seats uncomfortable, music too loud.
All around excellent experience. Drinks, Food, Service all was Excellent. Had a wonderful time
Food and service were excellent. Our waitress' suggestions were on target and delicious. The red sangrita was a hit.
Bogota is a great choice for a low key brunch in Park Slope and the restaurant seems to not merely tolerate but actually enjoy having children in the space. Great options for both breakfast and lunch and delicious drinks.
Very flavorful and unique Columbia and other Latin dishes in a very lively, fun environment. Good options for vegetarians and vegans.
Restaurant shouldn’t suggest tip
Of 20%, 25% etc. Its obvio that NYC as rule is double of tax ( some cases is volunteer).. not 20, 25 or 30 %.
Always a great experience at Bogota! Sangria was on point!
Excellent service. Lively ambiance in which the food and awesome drinks play a huge role.
Great brunch option - eat the buenelos -sooo good! Can't wait to go back...
Food was amazing !!!! Sangritas were even better!!!
Over priced, poor service, average at best food quality.
Great food, awesome flavor. Would def come back.
It's really an awesome spot to eat, talk, and enjoy a night out. I've been there before, and I keep going back. I recomend the spot highly.
The server was excellent. She was friendly and smiled throughout our meal. I have been a couple times and I will continue to come back
A bit pricey for Mexican food, but delicious. Very loud and fun atmosphere. Great service,Gets very busy very quickly
Fun place for Saturday night dinner.
Good cocktails and buzzy vibe.
Glad to have visited
This is our go-to place for celebrations! The food, drinks and company is always amazing. Highly recommend!
