We're located right across the street from landmark Fort Greene Park, and 3 blocks away from BAM and Theatre for a New Audience.
Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
The service was busy, possibly somewhat understaffed but efficient. I had the couscous which was excellent but would have been better withe sausages mixed in rather than laid on top.
Food was super. When we arrived on time there had been a mix up and there was no table for us. We ended up sitting at the very inviting bar and had great service. So all was well.
Space is a bit cramped, but it'a a nice ambience, and the food and service are excellent.
Very tasty and the service was very good, which we appreciated because we were going to the theatre after dinner.
Delightful, authentic French bistro at the foot of Ft. Greene Park. Maybe 10 tables and a counter. Each of us had a sandwich + salad: one chicken and one portobello mushroom w/ goat cheese and cherry tomatoes. First:the BREAD was warm and crusty French bread. Fantastic. We deconstructed our sandwiches and ate everything separately! So yummy. My tea was served in a giant mug, just how I like it. Next time, I plan to get the gorgeous onion soup. Maybe oysters. Definitely a keeper!
Cozy French bistro with delicious food and an inviting and warm atmosphere created by the owner and terrific staff. Very happy to have found this lovely spot.
Good standard bistro fare.
Love this place! Great food, great vibe, service is exceptional!
Lovely french cafe , nice staff and respectable french fare. We will be back next time we are in the neighborhood!
Great variety of choice
Every dish tasty and delicious
Great meal. Very accommodating and a very sweet staff
The food is excellent, the service good; it would have helped to know beforehand that if you want to order the Raclette you have to let them know ahead of time. We will definitely go back.
Excellent classic French food in a charming space with Fort Greene Park out the window. And not horrifically expensive. Delightful all around.
My boyfriend and I had our anniversary there and it was great!
Wonderful experience at Café Paulette. We were there for my dad’s birthday. The food was delicious, the waitress made great recommendations about the quantity of food we were ordering (she said we needed to order more and she was right), and they responded to our time constraints by getting us out in time, as we had a show to go to afterwards - an impressive feat as they were very busy!
It’s a great place for a romantic date, pre-Barclays Center event or with friends! Very authentic and delicious food.
Perfect brunch for my sons 23rd birthday! Excellent service and food
My new fave restaurant. As good as any French restaurant in Paris.
Really nice and accommodating staff.
Caesar salad way too salty.
Very good meal in bistro setting. Salade verte was delicious, as was the duck confit. Service was attentive.
We went early before a show at BAM, so glad we made a reservation as it is clearly a popular spot. Service was great and the food very good. Would certainly go back.
Our server was fantastic . Food terrific. Will definitely go back.
Had the most amazing and intimate birthday dinner here with live music and lovely staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday than what I experienced here.
The food and service are both wonderfully French. Great food and kid friendly a perfect neighborhood brunch spot.
Loved this little piece of France! Food and ambience. So lovely.
Had my first date with my now wife here! It's the best French restaurant in BK! The staff are awesome, unpretentious restaurant that you just want to hang out in for far too long, eat and drink the night away.
Went for a date with my boyfriend on the live music night and had a fabulous time. Excellent service, good food, great time.
Food was good and service was fast but a little rude
A neighborhood delight! Intimate, friendly setting with outstanding service and delicious food. Daily specials with authentic cuisine. Went with another couple and had an amazing meal and such a fun night! Well taken care of - never rushed. Can’t wait to go back!
I went to Café Paulette with my wife for Valentine's Day. There was a set-price dinner, but with sufficient choices, even for two pescatarians. Very good value. It was a romantic evening and it was easy to imagine that we were in France rather than Brooklyn. Service was attentive. We will return.
A lovely cafe with very good food, quiet atmosphere and friendly service.
I came here with friends for brunch and made a last minute reservation. They have a decent brunch and the inside is lovely.
Incredible food and drinks. Service wasn’t overly friendly but they were very busy and who cares! The product made up for it!! Going again and again and again
Brunch is usually a disappointment. My friends and I however ate well and affordable at Paulette.
Advice: side of gravlax with Avocado toast.
food is a bit mediocre, but its a super charming bustling space. My friend had the waffles which were not good and a bit rubbbery. I had the steak and eggs where was tasty. Fries were mediocre however.
We all really enjoyed the dinner! Great food! Wonderful dessert!
The gentleman with the moustache who explained the food to us was bit over the top but not in a good way. All of that is not necessary when the food speaks for itself.
Also, I prefer sitting in a booth which we did not. So it felt like communal cafeteria dining where when you got up you had to ensure that you did not knock into the other table's food, etc. Personally I feel they squeeze too many tables in the restaurant.
Very nice and cozy place. Very good French fries!
Best French food since Paris. Loved the place. Made me feel I was back in Paris.
Excellent service and great food. Cozy option if you are in Fort Green/Clinton Hill area :)
Excellent French cooking, small menu and interesting wine list. By all means, don't pass up dessert and coffee--even decaf.
