Absolutely fabulous dinner, service and ambiance. The food was fresh, delicious and made with care. The service was impeccable. I would give 5 stars for everything were it not for the restrooms: no supplies and filthy. I hope the restaurant invests in their own restrooms rather than share them with others in the building.
Overall it was ok, our waitress didn’t come around as much... and we found a spider in our cup! We were kinda upset about our dinner entrees thinking we were going to get sliced potatoes instead of Mashed potatoes... and the 16oz ribeye was not as buttery as usual!
Great food, ambiance, and service make this neighborhood gem a fan favorite. CRUSH is crushing the Italian food scene in Chico!
My daughters and I always go there if we want to spend "special time together" and Chicken Picatta is my favorite. I also like the cheese garlic bread and the roasted artichoke.
Enjoyed a nice dinner there on Friday. The place was busy, but we were seated at a nice table without a wait. The appetizers and entrees were well prepared and tasty. Nice wine list that complements the menu. The service was good and friendly, but there was a problem with timing- our entrees came out while we had just begun our first course. Otherwise a nice dining experience.
Terrible service. We were there for 2 hours. Just 4 of us. Maybe our waiter forgot to put our order in.
When the food finally came two dishes were cold and two piping hot. Maybe a kitchen mistake. The flavor was mediocre. Steak and taters too salty and cold. And the waiter was wierd and aloof. When he brought the second beer he didnt even take the empty glass. My other empty cocktail glass stayed through the whole dinner. Too bad. I want to like this place.
I think it might be best for drinks and happy hour.
The chicken was dry and overcooked. And the online menu needs to be updated.
Really enjoyed the food and 2nd story window view of downtown. Server was friendly and helpful and the entire experience was great!
I always look forward to a return visit when I am in the area .
Steaks were perfectly cooked at medium rare. Chicken park was excellent. Salmon was excellent. Service was superb.
Took my wife here for our 16th Anniversary dinner. This restaurant was a great pick, but it also would be for just a fun date night.
Just 2 of us. Not a good experience. Gin & tonic arrived. No taste, more like soda water. Waiter corrected problem. Said tonic had run out & they were fixing it. Replacement was good. Barbecued artichoke ordered for starter. Tough as shoe leather. Only heart was edible. No charge for that. Both meals were OK. Generous servings, plenty of food. Not my first choice in the future.
WE HAVE BEEN TO CRUSH MANY TIMES AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED THE SERVERS ARE THE BEST AND IF YOU EVER WANT A NICE QUIET EVENING OUT THIS IS THE PLACE TOGO
The pasta was delicious, but we were seated under a blowing AC stream, and it was too loud to talk
As always, reservation was right on time and
Servic and food was excellent !!
What a wonderful restaurant food and service! Joe was amazing manager made sure everything was awesome and it was!!!! I am a huge fan now! Great drinks too!!
We were visiting from out of town and the hotel recommended Crush. We had one of the best dining experiences we've had in ages. The food was spectacular, everything was cooked exquisitely, the service was fabulous, the ambiance was great and when the bill came we couldn't believe how cheap it was!! (Admittedly we live in the SF bay area where restaurants are much more expensive in general, and Chico is for sure less expensive, but still we were very happily blown away by the entire experience)!!
Nice place, trendy, upscale and friendly. Very popular on a Monday
Great restaurant! We had a good time do to having excellent service & food.
we were first seated at a high traffic table, we asked to be moved to someplace quieter and we were accommodated, that was nice. The wait service was top notch.
I didn't find the food was quite as good as it has been in the past. We ordered the frito misto which was always are go to starter. It had very little fried calamari in it, it was mostly fried veggies. My husband said he enjoyed his steak, although the ones we have at home are better. I had the fettuccini which I found to be unremarkable. The service was still good, however just slightly less attentive than in the past.
Great experience good food. My husband ate the rib eye the rib eye he had ever had.
Great food, great service...my go-to place for an evening with friends.
It was absolutely wonderful. I'm looking forward to our next visit
It was busy, but our server paid us little attention and never brought our apitizer. Food was tasty though.
Went for a birthday dinner. Crush made our lives better!
The food was excellent. Unfortunately, our order got behind a couple of other large party orders, and took an excessive amount of time to be served, which caused us to miss a concert we had tickets for. The manager was most gracious, and we'll definitely return for another meal, just as long as we don't have a hard deadline at the end of dinner.
Brian out waiter and the food were awesome.
4 of us enjoyed dinner here. The service was excellent and the food was good. We would come back again to try more menu options.
Food was excellent!! Salmon and appetizer were my favorite!
Nice for birthday celebration
This was our Daughter's grad lunch (Chico State). Our server, Nick, was super attentive to our party of 8 despite pulling a "double" that day. The Open Table system would only allow to reserve for 5 but the restaurant changed it to 8 manually (and I got my points!). All of my guests were very happy. Portions are big so we did do some sharing. For a very busy day, they were on their game!!!
Exceptional service for a very demanding table! Everything we ordered was well above average.
There are not very many healthy options for those of us who are eating non-dairy and non-gluten, therefore I had to modify my selections.
Had an anniversary. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Crush continues to be my favorite restaurant in Chico for this reason!
The service was absolutely excellent! Every single person from the valet to the multiple staff we encountered were so warm and friendly- top notch customer service! Someone is hiring the right people!
Really enjoy Crush. Great menu for all tastes - we have vegetarians and meat eaters in our group and everyone is happy. Nice cocktail list and love the decor.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere, look forward to next year for the Chico wildflower ride.
This restaurant is located in downtown Chico. It is a nice restaurant inside but could use an update or at least a refresh. It has a bar. The menu is mostly geared to Italian type food. Service is good. Parking can be difficult and it is easy to miss as it is upstairs with businesses below.
Had a delicious meal at Crush with the family. Service was fantastic and noise level was low (was a Monday evening). My gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the fam all loved their dishes as well. Highly recommend.
