was there for both a breakfast and a dinner-- neither disappointed ! Service was always good, and the food was well prepared and delicious ! Would certainly go there again !
Loved our dinner at Kitchen Notes! We had early reservations before a concert. The menu looked delicious it was hard to decide what to order! The food did not disappoint. All 6 of us were very happy with our meals. The wait staff could not have been nicer or more attentibe. Our server noticed my daughter had spilled something on her shirt and brought a special wipe to help clean it. Highly recommend if you are staying in downtown Nashville and need a break from the crowds. This is a good find!
I schedule lunch meetings at KN all the time. On this occasion, I had made my reservation five days ahead of time. The restaurant called the day before the lunch to ask if I could confirm my reservation. I did. My business guest and I arrived at the 12:30 lunch, on time, only to be told I would have to leave by 1 p.m., so I should put in my order quickly. They had an event planned for 1, and by 12:40, they were moving all tables and chairs not occupied and noisily rearranging and cleaning the room. Why couldn't I have been warned? When they called to confirm my reservation, couldn't they have talked to me about the dilemma, or that the luncheon would be interrupted by staff re-setting the room, and that I would have only a half-hour before being told to leave. I could have moved the business lunch to an earlier time--noon or 11:30 would have worked--or rescheduled. Instead, they kept my reservation, confirmed it, then made it a disastrous dining experience and a meeting that was constantly interrupted. I suggested KN as a good place for our meeting, then was undermined and embarrassed for having done so.
Service was fast and friendly - and the pancakes are extraordinarily delicious!! A little pricey but it is the Omni ... but is also very convenient, quiet and comfortable. Will definitely go back next time in Music City.
My friends & I did Sunday Brunch. Two words"Biscuit Bar". The biscuits were so tender & the homemade jams were just delicious. I had 3 biscuits & would have eaten more, but I wanted to try more food. The other items were good, but Loooved those biscuits. Definitely returning next time I'm in Nashville.
Great service and the best traditional southern food we have had in the city! This is a truly unique place to eat in Nashville and one of our new favorites. The shrimp and grits was incredible and on point with the “low country” style and flavor. The deviled eggs and meatloaf were also excellent. Worth the try if you live here or are just passing through.
The best biscuits in downtown Nashville!!
We enjoyed our experience at Kitchen Notes. The tables were spaced far enough apart to have room to move around and have our own conversations, and the noise level was minimal and ideal. The meatloaf and fried chicken were both hits, and even though the drinks took longer than expected to come out, they were worth the wait. Complimentary biscuits and cornbread were a welcomed surprise, as well as the butter and jam/jelly. Don't plan on taking any food with you, as 1) the serving sizes aren't large enough to split between 2 meals, and 2) the taste will leave you wanting more until it's gone. Spend the extra $2 to get the Kenny's Farmhouse White Cheddar Mac & Cheese with your meal. The complimentary valet service made parking very quick and easy, but make sure you get your server to slap a sticker on your valet ticket. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
A little on the expensive side...food was good...a little slow on replenishing a couple if items and had to wait... Brisket was very good !
Food was outstanding. Service was equally as good.
I love breakfast and brunch and Kitchen Notes did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and extremely friendly. This was my first time for breakfast at kitchen notes and I would definitely recommend and we will return.
Buffet was just average. Muffins were hard and bacon was a little over cooked
Kirchen Notes was by far our best meal in Nashville. One of the best meals I have had recently! Biscuits were amazing. We ordered a variety of dishes to share. The beet salad was excellent. Mac & cheese two thumbs up, better then some other restaurants where we tried this. Meatloaf was delicious. I could go on. Staff were friendly and service good. Quick service as well, as we were on a time schedule. The wait staff was very accommodating to our wishes. A very good quality meal in a nice setting.
My husband and I go to Kitchen Notes almost every month, and we are never disappointed. Kitchen Notes is always delicious, and the service is top notch.
Good service and food would recommend
Ok meal. Best part is the free valet parking. Was able to park, leave car, and head to the Ryman
Delicious food, reasonably priced, with great service.
Quiet dining with a southern flair. Loved the biscuits!
Jennifer is amazing! She has waited on us almost at each visit. She knows me so well that she knew I was feeling under the weather and brought me ginger ale. Love your buffet!
Delicious brunch with something for everyone at the buffet. No need for another meal that day. A bit pricey, though.
Found this restaurant on Open Table and it far exceeded our expectations. Visiting Nashville from San Francisco, we honestly think we have the best food in the world so its hard to impress this group of 12 people. Wanted a restaurant with good food, good service and an environment that we could talk. Our waiter Jamie was excellent, he was knowledgeable, fun and provided excellent service. The food was amazing and about half the price we would pay in the Bay Area. The meal starts with biscuits and corn muffins which were amazing, the beet salad was probably the best I've ever had. We ordered the chicken bucket, salmon, chicken pot pie, meat loaf and the shrimp and grits, every entree served at our table was amazing. The servings are large so unfortunately we did not have room for dessert. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant is right off the lobby of the new Omni hotel in downtown Nashville. It is the cheaper of the restaurants there and probably more suitable for a quick, relaxed meal. I was accidentally given the lunch menu, so I thought it was really cheap when I initially ordered. However, the final bill was more in keeping with what I initially expected. My dining partner had a queasy stomach and the waiter was very good about getting him a half portion of one of the dinner choices. Even the half portion was reasonable size for most people for dinner and my friend was unable to finish. I had "she-crab" soup (apparently the female crabs taste better) to start, and then the mustard-rubbed steak, cooked medium rare. It was nicely done, but there was a bit of gristle towards the edges. It was still a nice cut of meat. I didn't have room for dessert, so I can't comment on that.
We make it by Kitchen Notes every time we are in Nashville because my daughter loves the gluten free biscuits. The staff is always so helpful due to her dietary needs and such kind team members. I tried the fried chicken this time with sweet potato tots. Yummmmmmm!!!
We have eaten at Kitchen Notes a couple times before and found it to be enjoyable. However last night we were very disappointed and frankly disgusted. In fairness, the service was very attentive and good. But, we spent the entire meal swatting away flies. Big ones and tiny ones. It was the most unappetizing meal that I have had in recent memory. Then to top it off, as we left, I stopped in the men's room and one of the urinals was stopped up and let's just say, very unappealing.
I don't know if the management has changed there or what, but we eat out in Nashville at nice restaurants every week. We have been to most of them. I don't ever recall experiencing hygiene issues like this.
Lovely brunch, food and biscuits were great!
The food was excellent. My husband enjoyed it. This was for our anniversary. I guess they couldn't do anything special but the food was great. His favorites where the made to order omelets and waffles.
We went once for lunch and once for brunch during a weekend getaway. The food was great, and the servers were wonderful. We were told Sunday Brunch would be vastly more impressive than lunch on the day before, but it was pretty much the same-other than the dessert and pastry area. The biscuit bar was our favorite part by far!
We loved our waiter. Best in Nashvill! He was always available and cleaned the table while we were sitting there and didn’t even notice.0
Great service and great chicken
As usual the breakfast buffet did not disappoint! This is my special go-to breakfast place now and the added complementary valet parking is a definite plus with it being so busy in Nashville! I am a local and will return here often! Thank you again!
Menu lists the buffet price as $21 when it is actually $31.95. Needs to be updated.
Make a reservation for the buffet breakfast at Kitchen Notes, Omni Hotel;you won’t be disappointed. The biscuits were the best I’ve ever tasted and the food was obviously fresh & well sourced. Our waiter Keith was very personable, offered great service and is an asset to the restaurant.
Best brunch buffet by far in Nashville.
If you are looking for southern comfort food, chicken pot-pie, hopping John, biscuits....that kind of thing, it was excellent served next to full length windows and a buzzy atmosphere.
The food was delicious and it was a nice quiet setting for brunch.
Beautiful and perfect for a bridal brunch on the weekend.
Enjoyed it. Nice server. Convenient
Service was Great! Got in right at 5pm
The food was just average, the gluten free biscuit was terrible, hard as a rock. I would of loved to have the option of either gluten free pancakes or gluten free waffles, which are very easy to make but you do not have. Atmosphere beautiful, priced to high for quality of food.
