We had such a wonderful dinner here a few nights ago we decided to try their Sunday brunch to see if they were consistently good. YES THEY WERE!! Not crowded around 11 am for brunch so we had no problem getting in. We had four adults plus a high chair for our grandson. Great omelettes to order, French toast that was more like desert 😃, awesome grilled shrimp with polenta and Tuscan Country breakfast. Excellent service. We will return!! More

Our party of five was be able to carry a conversation in this restaurant which was really nice. It was quiet enough and roomy atmosphere. Food was good, my farro salad just had a bit too much of that farro. Nice place to eat and have a drink before a concert! More

A gem of our region. World class experience in a beautiful rural area. Reminds me of the delights of traveling in rural Tuscany this past spring - combining elegance with rusticity. The food was a mixture of ethnic traditions: of France, Italy, Thailand and other creative explorations of making wonderful food from seasonal options. More

Love the Bleu Duck Kitchen - especially for special occasions. We've gone for birthdays and anniversaries this year. It's not cheap, but they have excellent service, and we appreciate the care they put into cooking each item with a special twist to the norm. You won't find a "plain" offering on the menu, which changes every week or so. We've never had a bad meal. Note: I park on the street, which means you might walk a bit. More

Discover The Twin Cities

Yes—a frigid Minneapolis winter evokes stews and soups and hearty, gut-warming fare, but the food scene in this formerly industrial city has gained steam in recent years, with a burgeoning community of excellent chefs, craft coffee and beer, and Nordic style to accompany the culinary traditions of the region’s immigrant community. You’ll find lefse—a traditional Norwegian flatbread made with flour, potatoes, milk, and cream, akin to a latke of a sort—creatively topped and, while meat is central (this is the midwest, after all), river fish and ingredients foraged from surrounding wooded areas lend diversity to the new Minneapolis menus. A number of new but now iconic restaurants have set the tone for how the twin cities’ keep up with the trends, though the two are more fraternal than identical these days, St. Paul taking a slightly more classic, mom and pop shop vibe.
