No. 7 in Fort Greene a destination for dinner, a late night snack or a lingering cocktail.
Lots of natural light in dining area, food was perfect!
Overrated, for sure. Nice vibe, good service, but not one of the dishes we had stood out in a positive way. The New York Strip was good. The Calamari was tough - didn't seem very fresh. The Brocoli app wasa gross - greasy and not that hot. Hamburger was OK - nothing special - but the fries were cold. Obviously a happening bar scene, and a great location, but the feed - meh...
The menu was unique and the food was good. Most of the wait staff was over the top friendly and provided good service. Our waiter looked like he would prefer to be anywhere but helping us. We are from out of town, had a hard time identifying the front door!
I love No. 7. The food is always great, the service is friendly, and the overall vibe just makes me happy.
Awesome as always. I don’t mind kids being welcome but diners need to not have them running all over the restaurant, more concerned for the safety of the children. Brunch menu just fantastic and the broccoli tacos are out of this world unexpectedly amazing!
Good neighborhood place. Food is good, drinks are great and the service was fine.
Lovely service. Very delicious vegan options.
Great spot! Love the natural lighting and simple decor. It's spacious and the food is great! We went for a late brunch (1:30) and it wasn't packed or too loud. We brought a baby and it was so chill that he slept! Overall, great spot!
Great fun atmosphere.. wonderful service .. food was tasty would def return when we are at a BAM event !
Nice cocktails. Busy but plenty of space at table, noise level didn’t interfere with conversation. The broccoli tacos are delicious.
I thought my meal was unique and delicious (fish tacos)...the place was warmly lit and lovely and I had a booth with three other people. Food came fast despite the crowd and we were able to get a reservation at the last minute
I was so excited to try a neighborhood place recommended by a Brooklyn-ite! A group of us went prior to the Elton John concert at the Barclay Center. Traffic was tough getting there so we were a little late but the host was great on the phone and said our table would be waiting. Our server knew we were going to the concert so recommended faster items. We had broccoli tacos cut up for 4 for our appetizer and the marinated pickles (way. too. hot) and olives (eh). Three of us had the veggie burger (very good) and one the fish tacos (eh). Drinks were good. I would go back because I loved the atmosphere and service -- definitely felt like a neighborhood favorite. Would go for some of the more exciting entrees next time.
I love this restaurant. It's my favorite in the neighborhood for good food, drinks and vibe. You have to try the broccoli tacos because you won't find them anywhere else. The veggie burger is also a favorite - made with beets for good texture. and they have gourmet McDonalds like fries, for the win.
The hostess/waitress Katherine is an absolute asset to this establishment!!!!!!!!! She saved the day by providing excellent service. She was courteous, professional as well as affable. Pancakes were surprisingly thin, but absolutely delicious. Coffee and hot cider was served in a mug❤️❤️The quiche was flavorful. The mustard dressing on the salad was yummy. This foodie was not disappointed with my first visit to this restaurant. Kudos!!!
we have been going to No. 7 for years now and can't say we ever been disapointed. the food is good, the service is good and we always enjoy ourselves while there.
Nice chill neighborhood restaurant and bar. Great drinks, wine and even an abita root beer for non alcohol drinking folks. Something for everyone on the menu. Meat and fun vegetarian options. Inventive and healthy food. Great service. Nice for meeting out of town friends, literally 2 steps from the C train and a few blocks from Atlantic Terminal. Nice for a date night, a drink and snack at the bar, or a family dinner. LOVE this place!
No. 7 is one of the most reliable spots in the neighborhood - great food, fantastic cocktails, wonderful service.
Chose this because of its proximity to BAM. What a great surprise— the food was terrific: broccoli tacos, my eggs with beans and a delicious salad with grapefruit and feta and optional fried chicken. Very nice server and a relaxed, comfortable vibe
Love this place. Staff very accommodating when we needed to add a person to our table st last minute. Great food. Perfect ambiance
Best veggie burger ever. I am a total carnivore and the housemade veggie burger was outstanding.
Great experience. Will be back. Would like more gluten free options.
Nice place and clearly very popular neighborhood place. Got incredibly noisy to the point we could not converse.
Prices are too high for portion and quality. The $32 steak was ok, but very over cooked rather than medium -rare. Fish tacos under seasoned. Great hot nuts! Service was very pleasant.
Excellent service and delicious food. Service was well paced and served fresh and hot
No. 7 was good, not great. Very convenient to BAM, which is why we went. The menu was a bit limited, although most dishes were quite good. Service was spotty, as one waitress was covering almost all of the tables.
Loved it! And they gave me a cake for my birthday! ❤
Located a short walk from BAM, No. 7 is a good choice before seeing a film or attending a performance. There is a wide choice of dishes, with many vegetarian options including a roasted broccoli taco! One person of our partyparty had spect dietary needs and the waitress and kitchen were extremely cooperative in fulfilling them.
Went here with coworkers. Nice spot. Decorated well for the holidays. Food was good but wasn’t overwhelmed by it.
Excellent food and friendlu service. Highly recommended.
If you are a carnivore, definitely a spot for one of the best burgers in NYC.
Next time we're trying the pork belly.
Easy stroll to BAM or TFANA. They were very alert to getting us out on time for curtain.
Excellent food and friendly service.
Located in an amazing space with high ceilings, widely-separated tables and transom- style windows surrounding the ceiling, No. 7 is just pleasant!
Being a Sunday, the 4 of us enjoyed the fried chicken special. At $25, it included Brussels sprouts prepared like a slaw. Delicately flavored and with caraway seeds. The mashed potatoes were well prepared and served with a mild mushroom gravy. And the chicken...wow! Very juicy with a coating like I’ve never had. Thinly coating the chicken, it is dark and speckled and crunchy. I don’t know the ingredients (guess I’ll have to get the chef’s book), but I would guess wheat flour was not one of them. Exquisite!
The topper was the included dessert of brownie a la mode. One of the best cake-style brownies I’ve ever had, and a good-sized portion as well!
The only bummer- we wanted the Brooklyn-brewed Pilsner they carry but, as it was a holiday week, there was no delivery. “Settled” for the Narraganset lager, which was a treat anyway!
Awesome service as well and they served up at a perfect pace for our purposes, which was to have an hour of fun!
Friendly front of house, fun vibe on a Saturday night, good for post-BAM dinner. Food is creative, lots of interesting takes on traditional dishes. Though does a fish taco really need strawberries on it? I appreciate the originality, and at least it didn't feel ordinary, but I don't know.... Nice cocktail list, and they have orange wine if you're interested. Everything we had was tasty, would return.
Amanda and justin were awesome! All the food except the gnocchi was fabulous!!
The food is amazing. The restaurant is beautiful. We will definitely be back again soon
Felt like the fries and bread on the sandwich weren’t fresh. But otherwise lovely spot and great atmosphere
Food was very good. Service was poor. It was indifferent and inattentive.
Great Food , Excellent Service, and nice Ambiance
Waitress allowed us time to settle in and chat before we ordered your meal.
Tried No. 7 via their Pulsd promotion. For this reason it was a great value - we had the veggie burger, chicken sandwich and 4 mimosas for $35. Very quiet and bright room in the back so it was pleasant for a simple brunch on a Sunday. Service could have been a bit better. The menu doesn't cater to a very brunchy atmosphere - I would say it leans more on the lunch side. Looks like it's a pretty nice place to grab a drink in the evening as well. Overall it didn't blow my mind but it was pretty good.
Conveniently located for BAM. Excellent food. Well served. Not too noisy. A great choice before a performance at the Harvey theatre which is just a few blocks away.
