The food was great and everything came out cooked perfectly. The cocktails and beer were also really good. Definitely will come back!
So happy the owners of Bridge House Tavern (R.I.P) opened a new place in Wicker Park. The food and service are still exceptional! The beignets are always so fresh and delicious!!! Huevos Rancheros was very very good and it’s a lot of food! It could easily be shared. Salmon Benedict was a delight as well. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent service and food was very good. Friendly, attentive staff.
The food was soooo good. I had the Hash and my husband had the angry pig Benedict. Both were amazing. The meat really makes the dish. The bacon on the Benedict was phenomenal with just the right amount of spice. What you’d expect from a ham specific restaurant. The mimosas are the perfect size and the bottomless mimosas are a great deal. Will definitely be back soon
Lots of interesting brunch menu choices. They offer a great bottomless mimosa deal that includes an entree.
Service was really good and food was outstanding
The food was nicely prepared, but overall too salty. We had the surf/turf (nice mushroom sauce, scallops were good), the bratwurst (good), salad and mushroom soup, fish/chips - all nice, just could be more interestingly seasoned. The chips were way over salted. Appetizers - pork belly (salty). Promising restaurant, but needs a little adjusting.
Really great spot! Awesome staff, food, location, and ambiance. Will definitely be back.
Outstanding food and service at an extremely reasonable price.
Nice people and the food was good. Dinning room was retro cool with interesting art. Probably could use a few more dinner options but what we had was tasty. Worth a return visit.
Good all the way around. Kyle, our served was great, food excellent, drinks very good. We’ll be back.
The place and environment is very nice, the service could have been a bit faster, but it was Saturday night so I guess it was busy. The food, hmm 1 appetizer was great the other okay, hamburger was great, the sandwich okay, in other words I wasn't impressed, but will try a second time just to to give a chance to change my mind.
Awesome all around!! Group had the popcorn, bruschetta, duck tacos, seabass, rueben, cuban, and fish/chips. All of it delicious.
Nice little find in the neighborhood. Our service was exceptional, so I think they took care of some of the previous complaints. Interesting menu with nice gastro choices. We just split a bunch of the small bites, mussels had a really tasty broth, a couple of the muscles were a little gamey. Charcuterie plate and cheese plate had a nice variety and perfect with their large beer selection, and the spicy chicken rolls were a hit. After dinner we sat at at the bar for a few more beers. It's a nice, huge bar, which I love in a restaurant, so if you go on a busy night you can eat at the bar. Bartenders were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a Saturday night and not all that crowded, hopefully they get some traction because the space, food and service are all you can hope for at a gastro pub.
The food and atmosphere was great. Sheared six Oysters, Caesar Salad and Bolognese. It was all good and the perfect portion for sharing. The name "Angry Pig Tavern" does not match the space it occupies, which I think might keep some people from coming, but it is well worth it.
Good beer/burger place plus other creative items on the menu. Very good service. We had to leave for a concert and they made sure to get us the check quickly. Big TV screens with sports everywhere. Liked it.
The food was good and the service was friendly. We enjoyed the relaxed and trendy vibe.
Interesting food, interesting decor, friendly service. Very loud, so hard to converse.
Impressed by how smooth the service ran after only open for two weeks. We were seated for our 8:00 reservation right on time. We had planned to try a lot of dishes, but the portion sizes on the appetizers were so huge that we never got past 4 of those for our group of 4, except that we decided to share 2 desserts because why not. 7 drinks, 4 apps and 2 desserts came to just $80 per couple including taxes and tip. Hopefully, they will be able to stay in business delivering that kind of portion-to-price ratio.
Went the first few weeks opening, maybe even the first week. The place is really nice and I liked what they did with the decor. Service was a little slow, our waiter seemed to be all over the place, we had to flag him down so many times for drink refills etc, not really attentive to the table.
We had 2 people at the table with dietary restrictions, one was gluten free, one was vegetarian. Gluten free had a decent amount of options. Vegetarians, not so much and the server did not really seem to care to ask the chef if there were accomodations that can be made. Hoping that in the future they are more well versed, since it was just the first couple of weeks, and also hope that they do have more vegetarian items, given the area that they are set up in.
Also hope that they have later hours! 10p on a friday night seems SO early for a city restaurant.
We went for the first time, only open since Tuesday. The food was served unique, tasty and great for light dinner. The bar is real cool....lots of ambiance. I think it was the original pool location now covered over. The craft beer selection on draft could be better but the special cocktails were good.
Never had a loaded brat..... tasty with a jam on it. Mac n Cheese was delicious.
Good place for a beer and share some apps or small plates.
Still need some time to get seating figured out with timing and reservations to be reliable
Had a great time at Angry Pig. Went with a group and we all tried something different to share. The popcorn is amazing. Literally addicting. The burrata was also great. Had the chicken entree. The mac and cheese was so delicious. Cocktails were great, too. Our server had a wonderful personality and was super attentive. All around a great experience!
Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Good crowd. Service a bit slow but crew is pleasant and friendly. Great space.
Great service and delicious food. Very reasonable prices. I’ll be back soon.
Great space and great burger. Service a little slow, however it just opened and the place was mobbed. Will be going back forsure.
Two thumbs up! I had an excellent spicy margarita upon request, the beer menu is great and everything we ordered was delicious: mussels, pork belly appetizer, fish & chips. They are kid friendly and accommodating. So happy to have a new dining option in Bucktown!
So happy to have Angry Pig in the neighborhood! We needed a place like this.... casual with great food.
It's such a great space and they took it to the next level by brightening it up and adding TVs for watching sports.
You'll see a lot of us!
