Exceeded our expectations!
Boca was recommended to me by a friend, and I will definitely pass on the recommendation to others! My group of girls loved the half salad/ half flatbread option, and every bite was full of taste...it left us quiet for the few minutes it took to devour all of the deliciousness! Can’t wait for the next time I am in Tampa just so that I can visit Boca!
First time dining at Boca. The entire experience was great. Will definitely return to experience more of the menu.
This restaurant is a real gem. One of the best and most fun places in Tampa. Great food, top notch service (you can tell the employees like working there), and really fun atmosphere. A+
Really cool place with a unique vibe. Great for brunch, especially if you like bottomless mimosas!
For our first visit, the food and the service were excellent, and I love the locally grown and freshly made concept. The problem was that the very loud rock music and overall level of noise throughout the restaurant made it impossible to have a conversation without practically yelling at the person across the table from you. Also, one of the valets was extremely non-helpful, simply handing me my keys and pointing to my car across the lot even though my mother is clearly handicapped.
Very disappointed in the overall experience but despite the mishaps with our entrees, the service was the worst we’ve ever had. We have always had exceptional service at Boca and unfortunately tonight was just a complete loss.
Great farm- to- table execution. Everything we had was prepared perfectly. The waitress, Karen (I believe, she was left-handed), was very attentive Long with the hostess, manager, and bar staff. One could tell every very little bite was prepared with care by the kitchen. There is an option on the menu to buy the kitchen staff a beer (a few dollars), which I recommend; because they work hard.
Great food and service as always. However, prices have gone way up over the year.. $14 for beautiful but tiny tuna tartare; Thai salad increased from $7 to $12. Still wonderful food, but no longer a midprice/good value choice.
Always lovely- great food, staff, and atmosphere. Our go-to spot!!
Took my husband there for his birthday. Unfortunate that it was a disappointment. It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. The food was so so, especially given the price. Overall bland and tasteless. Service was good, but otherwise wouldn't recommend.
Awesome food! Great service! Would recommend to a freind!
Great food and excellent service. Good variety of wonderful food!
Terrible service. We went for brunch and had to wait 10+ for every refill of our bottomless mimosas. Foods was unimpressive, there were eggshells in my fried eggs and the steak was chewy and fatty.
I've always liked Boca, been there many times over the years for lunch, brunch, and dinners. My past two brunch experiences have been... underwhelming. Several people made comments that the food was either bland or just "OK". I was with a larger party and I know it can get very crowded and that may have something to do with it. I still very much like Boca and will continue to come back. Next time I brunch I will get lunch as opposed to brunch food. I also wanted to note that I had a wonderful server!!
Food is amazing, unique, and always fresh! One of a kind place and perfect for brunch!! I could go here every week. However it is ALWAYS busy, but thats a good sign right!?
Nice place, service was on point, my server was attentive and sincerely friendly. Manager on duty spoke to most tables and that is something that I look for. It speaks volumes
We always have a great experience! Excellent all around.. food is delicious and impeccable service. Feels like home every time we go. Brunch is our favorite!
The food was out of this world! Fried green tomatoes, Bri apple flatbread and sweet potato gnocchi!!! Everything was absolutely amazing!!!!
The food was fresh and well prepared. We didn’t have to wait long for the food which was amazing!
Noisy, not good value for the quality of food. I keep trying it again but likely won’t be returning.
Love their OMG Burger!
Brunch with the family.
My wife and I had a wonderful brunch. The food is always very good. I had the BBQ pulled pork benedict and my wife had the Boca smoked corned beef hash. Both were very good. We also shared the chicken apple sausage links and those were amazing. They had a terrific flavor. We definitely will be back.
Our family loves the food. I haven't ordered any entree I didn't love.
Our waitress and maitre d' were so accommodating for all of our off the menu requests! Will definitely go back!!
A friend was in town for business so we agreed to meet for dinner.
Food was good. Beer selection was OK but they were out of my favorite. Ironically, it's a beer produced in Tampa. I had the sweet potato gnocchi. My buddy had the skirt steak. Zucchini fries and flat bread for apps were tasty. Dessert menu looked good but we did not partake.
I liked our server. Very friendly and timed our meals just right.
I'm always up for a farm to table restaurant. Cool lettuce wall. I'd definitely go back.
Great spot close to the Amalie Arena for those higher end dinners before a concert or sporting event. I am gluten free and a foodie, and this satisfies with cocktails, wine list, and excellent upscale food, all delicious. Service the first time I went was great, but bar service slow, but the next time they were overwhelmed with a concert crowd, even the kitchen was backed up, and my salad starter needed a reminder. The management and staff were astute and handled everything the best they could. I don't think they expected the crowd, but maybe they will check the schedule and staff accordingly. Try the zucchini fries, and the shrimp and grits. Everything everyone had was wonderful, my rose delicious, and worth the prices!
I took my mom for a successful mother's day dinner. The food, as we were told, is farm-to-table, as organic "as possible," and not frozen. I loved the idea of having center pieces and even an entire wall dedicated to growing herbs and veggies. Food was great, along with the service. The only three critiques I had were 1) there was no need to sit me outside, as explained to me over the phone, when i added one more person to my OpenTable reservation. Luckily it wasn't a stormy evening, and outside seating was still nice, but there were plenty of tables that could sit 3 people inside throughout my stay. 2) steak didnt really melt with every bite 3) parking is awful. But id definitely come back.
For the first time I had a terrible experience. It was my daughters birthday and she had a miserable time . The service was the worst I had ever experienced. Starting from drinking from a glass that had lipstick on the glass . As a man probly the worst thing that can happen . The server gave me the worst attitude..
Food and service was amazing. Next been a fan of bench and table seating bc you share an entire bench with other parties. Asides from that we had a great first time there and will totally return for more
Food always good at Boca. A good crowd but I had reservation so no wait.
Great all around
This place is incredible! All of the food options had a distinct option of authenticity. The quality of food for the price is immeasurable. I’m definitely returning.
From the moment we stepped through the door the service was impeccable! The manager and hostess were very quick to greet us and get our table ready. We were seated near the door where waitstaff were going in and out. When we went back to the hostess stand to request a table away from the door, they immediately accommodated us with a different table. We started with an order of fried green tomatoes and they were delicious! I ordered the duck eggs, potato hash and crispy bacon. When the manager brought out my food he noticed that my bacon wasn't crispy and asked if I wanted it cooked longer. When it came back it was almost too crispy, but still good. I paid extra for the duck eggs, which I've had at Boca several times. This time they were overcooked and dry , which was disappointing. I didn't want to say anything about them since I already had a problem with the bacon, though. My friend had the steak and grits which she absolutely LOVED. We enjoyed our waitress and our overall experience, and we'll definitely be back!
Great food! ☺️
Great dinner with a friend, the service was attentive and friendly, food was great, those zucchini fries are far too delicious! Our entrees were good too, the scallops and clams are particularly recommended.
Phoebe brought great energy to the table. Food was good. A must for those dining in Tampa.
