Asian - and defined by crisp, clean flavors, seasoned with a touch of whimsy.
The menu is designed to encourage sharing, as befits the relaxed atmosphere of what is a Brooklyn attitude- free zone. The Quarter is a place to savor fine wines and memorable craft beers, while relishing accessibly-priced food that
reflect Executive Chef Jason Avery’s flair for unexpected ingredient combinations that seduce the plate, while capturing the imagination.
The Quarter is one of the worst restaurants I've visited in NY. We had a reservation at 8 but our table wasn't ready at that time. We had to wait for like 15 minutes. Once there, it took ages for someone to take our order.
The food was really bad, we asked for the "Pan Roasted Chicken Caramelized Winter Vegetables, White Wine, Thyme, Garlic" and it was just fried chicken with tasteless veggies. We also shared the burrata which was almost uneatable.
The drinks came after our dishes. We ordered wine and beer. They were both terrible and really expensive for what they tested like.
So on top of that, we were brought the check really fast and then were asked to move to the bar because they had another reservation. We just left. This is probably the worst restaurant in Brooklyn. We Will never go back.
My food was lukewarm and the service was very slow.
Food and service were outstanding! I miss the more subdued interior of the old restaurant (that was there before the Quarter) because that shiny tin ceiling combined with those tacky blue lights behind the bar is just too bad. Otherwise, a solid place that I’ll definitely return to!
The food was delicious and the cocktails were perfect. Variety of food offered from healthy to fried food. Food took a little longer than expected to come out but al in all worth it!
The food, service, wine and cocktails were all great. Excellent value. Very good atmosphere. This was my second time dining here. I will definitely come back.
Great place to have a Sunday brunch with a group. The staff was very accommodating when I had to change our reservation and let us wait at the bar for the rest of our party (family driving in from out of town). Unlike a lot of other places, they weren't putting pressure on us about where the rest of the party was and the bartender was very nice and conversational when I asked about the menu. Our server was great - super friendly and accommodating (especially with a baby and a 7 year old!). It was lowkey and wasn't packed at all (I'm not really sure why because the food was good and so was the atmosphere). We felt very welcomed and had a lovely time!
The Quarter was fabulous and our service was top-notch. We were there for a relaxed dinner with a group of friends. It was great and all of us enjoyed the menu we selected - I highly recommend it as a favorite!
Great Brunch. Cozy place. Try the brussel sprouts and eggs for breakfast (really)! If you have the fries, make sure to dip it in the truffle infused mayo -- excellent.
It was a lovely venue for a date. We were there earlier in the evening, so it was very quiet and empty, but you could tell from the service that they would treat you exactly the same way if they had been crowded. Warm and kind wait staff and beautiful ambiance!
Would never go back
Great for a quick bite before a BAM show. Burger was great but other apps we ordered - tacos, burata, were just okay
I've eaten at the Quarter a number of times with friends & it's always been a fun experience. Good food, good service, nice ambiance. The noise level does get a bit high as the evening wears on but being "seniors" we tend to eat earlier than the rush.
What a lovely place! I met a friend there for brunch and was delighted by both the food and service. I wish I lived closer (I’m from Queens). But I definitely will return.
Great meal, servers were very attentive and ambience was nice as well
A perfect place to dine before or after an evening at BAM. The wait staff was exceptionally warm and friendly and we loved the ambiance, especially the glow from the tin ceiling. Very vintage, very attractive. We would go back for sure.
Nice place but oysters not so good. Burger was good and the service was friendly pretty quick.
3 people. Brunch food. Everything arrived cold. Two orders completely cold scrambled eggs. Home fries served with the eggs were a disgrace. Obviously reheated (possibly many times reheated) potatoes and completely mealy. Tasteless. The "fried oysters" that came with the scrambled eggs were all breading. If there was any oyster inside the lumps of breading you could barely identify it as such. Where's the oyster??? Heh heh. And they were cold as well. Pancakes ordered by third friend were said to be good but they also arrived cold. She sent those back while other friend and I just sucked it up and ate the eggs and lumps of breading. Mixed tall mojito was mostly ice. Nice ice but not much drink for 13 bucks. Bellinis were meh. Lovely setting and staff is nice but won't pass this way again.
Gracious service, food was tasty
Old meat. Old cheese. Staff not open to listening.
We loved the food - so much so, I would’ve given them 5 stars. We ordered the pasta, oysters, fish tacos., smoked trout toast, and vegetable sides - shishito peppers, cauliflower, and brussell sprouts - which we especially enjoyed. There was a nice selection of wines too. As our meal was so good, we decided to try a dessert - tres leches. This was a disappointment - dry, had a refrigerator taste. I’d definitely go back to this restaurant, just won’t be ordering any dessert.
It’s just a dope place to eat and vibe!! Great food and great staff
Food was good, service was fantastic.
Local friends brought us in for drinks and dinner. We had oysters and a reasonable dinner. Great cocktails and service. We stayed late on a Tuesday and had a great time.
Expensive for the value. Food wasn’t good for the price
The team was attentive, responsive, and quick with the food. Great experience
We all ordered burgers, which were excellent and properly cooked. Will surely go back to try other dishes.
It was my birthday. I wanted to enjoy local dining I had not yet tried. The General Tso’s chicken buns are delicious. We also enjoyed the mussels. Excellent!
It was great. But the place was not too busy and the service was a little slow. Either way the food was worth it.
We were there for 3 hours and were never offered a refill on drinks, we had to ask to order and ask for a check.
This restaurant had terrible service. We were put in a corner where our table was constantly forgotten. We had to constantly ask the waitress to refill our glasses of water amongst other things. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Decent appetizers, but overpriced for what you get. Ordered the NY strip and fried chicken sandwich and neither were very good - we let our server know and they took these items off of our bill (we barely touched them). The service was great and everyone was very friendly and nice.
The Brooklyn Eagle is an unreal brunch sandwich and the cocktail pours are hefty. This is an excellent brunch spot with superb service.
My 5th visit, and I still love it. Wonderful service, good food, generous portions, reasonable prices. A very friendly vibe. What's not to love?
Very nice place. I would recommend this to anyone interested in good food, friendly service and good prices.
Food was good place was cool
We have eaten here several times, always before or after seeing a movie at BAM, located nearby. The food is great and so is the service. The food portions are generous. I would heartily recommend the red lentil soup. It seems I always have to have it. Excellent sandwiches, like the chicken, and the burger. Great mixed seasonal drinks, too.
What an absolutely brilliant dining experince my colleagues and I had. We all spoke about how great the food is, and the staff were so lovely. We dined outside in the garden, and being late December it was cold out but you couldn’t tell from our table. We were all nice and warm. The ambience is cosy and with a warm glow. Particular stand out for me was the brussel sprouts, absolutely delicious. Please visit The Quarter, you won’t be disappointed.
Food was really kind of terrible and service was strange and unfriendly.
Menu has something for everyone, excellent for a group before or after a show at BAM.
We were a group of 5 and the service was a bit off, 4 out of 5 got our meals together and the 5th was 5+ minutes late even though we all ordered burgers. We also ordered a 2nd round of drinks and only 4 came instead of 5.
The staff were very friendly about everything though- just seemed like a busy night.
Would go back!
All the people Attending and serving are engaging, attentive and charming. The brief menus is full of unique delicious variations.
